The peak surf season on Sri Lanka's east coast runs from May to October. During this time you'll find consistent swell, offshore winds, and ideal conditions for both beginners and experienced surfers. Lessons run year-round, but May–October is when Arugam Bay is at its best.
All lessons include a surfboard suited to your level, a rash guard, a full safety briefing, and instruction from a certified local instructor. There are no hidden charges. Optional extras include surf photography (+$20) and board hire after your lesson.

Lessons are open to anyone aged 7 and up. You don't need to be particularly fit — if you can swim 50 metres comfortably and spend a couple of hours outdoors, you're ready. Our instructors will adapt the session to suit your fitness and ability.
We keep group sizes small — maximum 6 students for beginner lessons and 4 for intermediate. This ensures you get genuine coaching time and personal attention, not just a supervised paddle.
