You can catch waves. Now it’s time to actually surf them. This 2-hour small-group session is built for surfers who can pop up and ride unbroken waves but want to break through the intermediate plateau — making real turns, reading the lineup, and generating speed across the face of the wave.
Your certified instructor focuses on the three areas that separate intermediate surfers from advanced ones: wave selection before you even paddle, positioning and weight distribution on the wave, and how to generate and maintain speed through your turns. Weligama Bay’s long, rolling beach break gives you consistent, repetitive waves to practise on — the ideal classroom for building muscle memory.
Maximum 4 students per session means your instructor watches every wave and gives specific, actionable corrections rather than generic group tips. Video analysis is included — your technique is recorded on your phone so you can see exactly where your turns are losing power. The session closes with a structured debrief and a clear progression plan.
